The Daily Dig
While I was shopping for screws at Rompage Hardware, I felt like something was hoovering above me. It wasn’t a security camera watching me pick my nose...it was a sprawling Fiddle Leaf Fig growing inside the store. I followed the leaves and trunk throughout the store until I found the source of it’s root system. The Fig was growing out of a crack in the floor. Where there’s a will, there’s a way!
Freddie, the Fiddle Leaf Fig
I asked an employee about the the vining plant. He told me that it has been there for over 40 years and that they became the new caretakers when they moved in. Against all odds, this tree has not only managed to live...it actually flourished and keeps on growing big beautiful shiny leaves. I wish Freddie the Fiddle Leaf Fig the best of luck and hope that future tenants continue to care for this amazing plant.
Is that a tree trunk next to my locks?

Do people really care for enormous, exotic houseplants when they take over a hardware store business? People do.
