The Daily Dig
Today I went out and took some pics of my garden with the new SXSW FreePack for iPhone, its a limited edition lens and commemorative case and it seems to add a blueish cast to my images.
I just went around the yard taking pics of anything that looked interested to see how it would effect the color of the plant and the light in the shot.

Boy, that picture after the euphorbia and before the begonia is something else again. I've notice pictures of it before but haven't seen the flower in bloom before. Just stunning.

Mark, that is blood lily, I believe Haemanthus Coccineus. I got if from a friend who has an amazing collection of plants including a big naturalized cluster of this one.
