Welcome to The Garden Geek. Come in and kick off your yard clogs. We want to help your garden grow.

We are a community of gardeners here to help each other, from spring rains to fall harvest. The Garden Geek is a user-created space. Post your projects, ask your questions, find fellowship with other green thumbs, and peruse our pages when it's too rainy to go outside and stick your trowel in the earth.

We believe that...

...gardens can be made on rooftops and cracks in the pavement
...creating planted spaces doesn't require large amounts of space or money
...children hold the future of our planet in there hands
...gardening is the cheapest and best type of therapy
...orange flowers can be seen from outer space
...you will bury or loose your hand trowel at least once on the weekend
...no gardener can go to a nursery and come home empty handed
...the center of your universe can be in your backyard

The Garden Geek is for beginners and botanists, window box gardeners and backyard farmers. We want to help each other make the world more fruitful. We love to see dirt under your finger nails and seeds sprouting up through the soil.
