The Daily Dig
I LOVE my plants, that much is proven :-)
I adore each plant in my garden, I have wanted each one of my plants, I have looked them up, studied them, and brought them to my gardens.
Not one of these plants is here by coincidence, they have all been the subject of my love strongly, at some point or another.
I have other passions, equally strongly represented in my brain and soul, and one I would like to divulge now is photography.
Growing the plant is one thing, seeing it at its best another, and photographing it yet another.
I stake out the best time of the week, the best time of the day, and I go out, armed with half a dozen cameras. (Not a joke.)
Another passion is making books of those photos. I use several providers of such services, and many times a year I send those projects to be printed as books, in the largest possible size.
My latest project was making the series of colour, the "Let's look at" colour.
I will make a post for each one of those projects, and now I would like to present to you "Yellow"
All of these pictures were made in 2010, in my own gardens.
View the slide show, happy yellow!

Yellow is my most favorite color and it's always the color that seems to emerge first each spring. I love the Buddha's hand.

I'm a big fan of yellow too. On the video I especially liked the photo (early on) of a branch with several yellow plums on it. Hmmm .. perhaps a theme for a future top 10 challenge: what are the top 10 favorite yellow flowers/plants in your garden?

What a great idea you have about making your own books. We are always buying someone elses gardening books...why not make your own?
