The Daily Dig
I wrote an enormous post, hyperlinked ALL the books, which took me 3 hours. THEN, the GG website threw me off, saying I needed to be a member, and access was denied. ALL my work gone.
I cannot add hyperlinks to posts on my desktop and have them work after I copy the post to the website.
So, I am sorry to say I am too pissed off and sad my whole hard work has vanished...
So, here is the post again, but without the hyperlinks, those are gone, and I cannot do them again. Too much work.
EDIT: The internet Fairy has saved my post by adding the hot links one by one. THANK you Fairy Albin, you are my hero!
For some reason people sometimes ask me questions about plants, what to plant, when, how, where... And I always take these questions mighty seriously. I am the first to point out that I have no degree in plants, and that the only reason I am successful in my garden is because I am such a persistent, stubborn, totally obsessed bugger. :-)
My dear friend Priscilla asked me if I could give her a list, and this is my list for her. A lot of these books have great pictures, so if the text looks a bit heavy, there still is a lot of eye candy to be found. Sometimes looking at pictures is a way to come up with combinations of your own. And if not, copying someones's work is a form of flattering.
Here we go. The links are to books on Amazon, where I buy most of my books. Many of these books are too specialised for a Borders type store to have them.
The list is made by the order I grabbed books on my bookshelf, trying not to wake up cats and a dog in front of it. There is no rating tied to the order.

I know just how you feel, Christie. That sort of thing happens to me too often. Last year I wrote an application for classroom grant and when I selected "send" I got a message that the program had "timed out". I couldn't back track to what I'd written and I hadn't backed it up anywhere else. I ended up letting it go.
We like a lot of the same books. I've got some Druse and I really like Piet's work. I've got a few shelves full too.

Thank you. I can't wait to explore these! And what a treat that Albin could help.
